The Fresh Toast, a lifestyle and cannabis, predicted back in August 2020 that cannabis industry workers would overtake computer programmers. If you bet with them, well, you one. According to The Fresh Toast, there are 440,000 people with cannabis jobs, and only 343,000 in computer programming.

With cannabis destigmatization, more states embracing adult use, and the smell of Federal changes in the air, there’s no doubt the number of cannabis jobs will keep growing. Will we hit the 4,717,192 who are currently working in fast food over the next two years? Maybe not, but cannabis jobs could overtake the 1.5 million REALTORS (members of the National Association of Realtors), plus the benefits are a lot better.
